Krazy Glue was introduced to the North American market in 1973 and became a household name almost overnight. The original formula — ethyl cyanoacrylate — delivered something no other consumer adhesive could: a non-toxic, colorless, instant bond with up to 1,000 pounds per square inch of bonding strength, activated by the moisture naturally present on almost any surface.
